The basic element of RATAJ robust shaftless spiral conveyors is robust shaftless spiral. Thanks to the swirl movement the spiral ensures large amounts of material transportation with complete filling of the conveyor at low rotation level and with the minimum usage of electric energy.
All connection parts of RATAJ robust shaftless spiral conveyors (slots, outlets, route entrances and exits, gear boxes) are customized. Such a practice ensures correct adjustment of transported material to already existing technology.

Our experiences connected with loose material transportation with robust shaftless conveyors provide our clients with the guarantee of optymal and technically correct transportation solutions. We base the opinion on the fact that 1500 pieces have already been manufactured for about more than 400 different kinds of transported materials.

Arched route and up

Flexible RATAJ robust shaftless conveyors (SL,SLN and SLP types) are used for the loose, delicate and little abrasive material transportation for the transport efficiency from 0,001 to ca 15 m3/hour and especially when transported on arched route, for long distances up to 100m per one motor unit. On the whole transportation route there are no indirect bearings which eables material transportation in the full dimension, with the effectiveness higher for about 70% in comparison to usual platform augers with shafts and indirect bearings with similar parameters. The main advantage of flexible spiral conveyors is still the possibility of usage arched transportation routes. The radius of the archs are designed for the specific diameters of the conveyors to keep the main aim, i.e.centring of shaftless spiral with the means of transported material. On one route you can use even a few arches depending on the physical properties of the transported material.

In complicated usage, especially in heavy industry of for high efficiency (from 0,01 to 600 m3/hour) there are being opened new prospects for the application of massive shaftless RATAJ spiral conveyors (RL, RLN and RLP types). Abrasive materials transportation (grit, gravel, sand, crushed rock, grinding dust, building materials, quick coke, etc.) materials with a great granuality (canisters, PET bottles, books, tree sawdust, etc.), sticking and humid materials (waists sludge, soil, etc.) are not any obstacles for massive conveyors, and with the correct application, they will help the customer solve even problems impossible to solve.

The applicance of two types of shaftless RATAJ spiral conveyors replaces many already used classic platform augers, elevators and pneumatic transport. For shaftless spiral conveyors there are no actual restrictions for dimensional transport direction. There are a lot of applications of vertical constructions, where used filling and emptying of the containers from horizontal and vertical direction, material transport in thechnology lines between floors and long distances transport.
